Does "Add all to cart" really add all 16 items in one click?
Yes. The button uses Amazon's native cart-add URL with all 16 Amazon ASINs preset to quantity 1 (insurance is a separate Heymondo quote). Amazon opens your cart with everything loaded. You review, edit, and remove anything you don't want before checking out — nothing's purchased until you confirm.
How were these specific products chosen?
Selection framework: balance of (a) Amazon sales rank — a proxy for review volume + average rating + Amazon's Choice signal, (b) brand priority — premium and original brands first (Anker, Travelon, LifeStraw, Sawyer, Petzl), (c) current in-stock status — every item was verified against Amazon's live availability today, (d) category fit — gear genuinely suited to 3-month SE Asia travel, not generic packing-list filler.
Why Travelon instead of Pacsafe for the anti-theft backpack?
Pacsafe is the original premium brand, but as of today most Pacsafe backpacks are out of stock on Amazon. Travelon is the direct rival, makes the same locking-zipper anti-theft features, and stays consistently in stock. When Pacsafe restocks, the recommendation flips back — the system flags it automatically.
Why no laptop or camera in the pack?
Both are too personal a choice to recommend generically. The pack assumes you already own the device you're traveling with — and provides the charging gear that's genuinely device-agnostic (universal adapter, 65W GaN charger, 100W cable, airline-legal power bank).
Will this pack work in countries outside SE Asia?
The power kit (items 01-04) covers every country — Type A, C, G, I, plus a 65W brick that handles laptops. The carry/safety/health pieces are universal. The only SE-Asia-specific picks are the Picaridin insect repellent (more relevant in humid climates than DEET) and the dry bag size (monsoon-routed). For Europe rail or US road trips, look for the dedicated packs — coming soon.
